DIAMOND non-stick ceramic coating for iron sole plates was showcased at Canton Fair, Guangzhou China for the first time in October. Visitors from Asia, Europe, Australia and North America came to the stand drawn by the features of the DIAMOND coating. There was surprise amongst many that the DIAMOND coating was more abrasion resistant than many ceramic coatings offered by leading brands. Additionally, the coil coating production process is unique to this application, so the improved quality and environmental credentials were of particular interest. A supply of sample material has been prepared so that OEM’s, manufacturers and other agencies can see the benefits for themselves.
